In case of existing nurseries, the infrastructure facilities of most of the nurseries are not sufficient to produce their potential quantities of good quality planting material to meet the demand. The main objective of the programme is to upgrade the infrastructure facilities of existing cashew/cocoa nurseries for ensuring the quality and quantity of the planting materials, thereto increase the production and productivity of these crops in the country.For modernization/upgradation of existing cashew nursery, Rs.5.00 lakhs @ 50% of the total project cost for private entrepreneurs/ 100% for public on project basis and no need of bankable project from the private and public entrepreneurs.
